How do I become a member of MNSHRM?
There is no membership in MNSHRM. We represent SHRM members and chapters in the State of Minnesota. You can become a member of a local chapter or SHRM, or both. Each chapter president serves on the MNSHRM Council. The Executive board is elected from statewide SHRM members. All council members serve as volunteers.
How can I get involved on the MNSHRM Council?
We have many volunteer opportunities, from one-time projects, conference assistance, to ongoing council roles. Contact the current Council Director for more information.
How do I qualify for the student conference rate?
One must be registered as a full-time regular day student to qualify for the student discount to the annual state conference. When you register just put the name of your school in the 'Notes' field.

What is HRCI certification and how do I get certified?
HRCI is the Human Resources Certification Institute. They offer professional certifications as a PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources), and a special certification just for California HR professionals.
