Real Time Talent Exchange – An Introduction

RealTime Talent is a startup collaborative organization focused on data informed decision making.  After a year of being immersed in aggregate job data, RealTime Talent (RTT) observed trends with a strong potential to negatively impact the ability of Minnesota employers to connect with students and job seekers.  This presentation will share these observations interspersed with an introduction to the Exchange.  The Exchange was selected by RTT after extensive research on the capabilities and focus of online job banks with matching technology.  RTT received funding by the MN State Legislature in 2016 to bring such a tool to MN.  Features of the Exchange, and how they impact recruiting and candidate evaluation and assessment, will be explored through an open conversation with ample time for questions and feedback.

Jess Niebuhr, Director of the RealTime Talent Exchange

Jess has supported RealTime Talent through several phases, including innovation leader as the organization was transitioning from the Itasca Project, to its founding executive director, and now a role focused on bringing the RealTime Talent Exchange to Minnesota communities and employers.  Jess’s experience includes 20 years of higher education administration where she focused on building partnerships between education, industry and other community and economic development service providers.  She is known for her work engaging with employers to identify training and education solutions to meet their ever-changing needs. Jess also provided academic leadership to 14 career and technical programs and continues to serve as a Higher Learning Commission peer reviewer.
