MNSHRM COVID Statement
Minnesota SHRM is excited to be able to offer an in-person conference experience again in 2021.  However, we recognize the ongoing issues with the COVID-19 Pandemic, and we are making every effort to provide both an effective and safe experience for everyone.  Therefore, by attending the 2021 Annual Conference, you agree that you are (1) not symptomatic for any respiratory infection; and (2) have not knowingly been exposed to COVID-19 or diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past (10) day period.  While participating in the Conference, and consistent with CDC guidelines, participants are encouraged to practice hand hygiene, social distancing and utilize face coverings where possible to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19.   

Because COVID-19 is contagious and is spread mainly through person-to-person contacts, MN SHRM has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.  However, MN SHRM cannot guarantee that it’s participants, volunteers and sponsors will not become infected with or exposed to COVID-19.  Participants acknowledge that by attending the MN SHRM Conference on October 11 and October 12, 2021, acknowledge that they waive any rights against MN SHRM, its officers, affiliates, volunteers, sponsors, and contractors regarding any COVI-19 related incident, infection, illness, or other complication.
