It all starts with us, the leader. Everyone leads in some aspect of their lives regardless of their titles. It's important to understand our strengths before we can apply them to our team (or other relationships in our life). What do I do well? What do I need to be my best? What strengths can sometimes get in my way?
Once we have a better understanding of what we do well, we will focus on the strengths of the team. You don't need to be well-rounded individually but your team should be. How will knowing my team's strengths help me be a better leader? How do I form complementary partnerships? How will this information help me work better with others if I don't have direct reports? How do I work with team members whose strengths sometimes drive me crazy?
The session will conclude with roundtable discussions led by strengths gurus. You can choose the topics you're most interested in and walk away with practical tips and suggestions.
