TCSHRM - IE&D Web Series Part 2

TCSHRM IE&D Web Series Part 2 will provide participants with information about how the work environment can present challenges for individuals with sensory differences. Participants will learn how to recognize if someone is in a state of sensory overload in order to support the individual. Participants will leave with strategies for making the work environment more inclusive, supporting employees or coworkers who experience sensory differences, and ideas for handling performance issues related to an individual’s sensory needs. 

Learning Objectives:

• List environmental considerations and strategies to make an office environment more inclusive for individuals with sensory differences
• Recognize the signs of sensory overload
• Implement strategies to increase inclusion in the workplace for individuals with sensory differences
