Christina is a strategic HR Professional & Global Executive with over 20 years of experience domestically and internationally specializing in the Manufacturing / Technology industry. Christina is the CEO of Global Management & Consulting, her passion is providing HR solutions by helping build HR infrastructure through technology, compliance, and people, increasing competitive advantage by aligning strategy with people and culture.
Christina has extensive experience in leading organizational transformations, driving large scale growth, talent acquisition and retention, leadership development, regulatory compliance, and customer management with a positive and collaborative mindset.
Christina has been a volunteer with SHRM for over 10+ years serving in multiple roles at her home chapter SMAHRA located in Mankato, most recently as Chapter President for 2 years.
Christina received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations with an emphasis on Conflict Management & Negations from Minnesota State University, Mankato, MBA with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from LSU and is currently completing her MS in Management & Leadership from WGU.

Carrie Patton is the Director of Human Resources for the law firm of Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A. In this role, Carrie leads the Human Resources team and guides the firm both in its overall human resources strategy, as well as day-to-day tactics. Among her responsibilities are compensation and benefits; policy development and administration; employee relations; performance management and recruiting.
Carrie has more than 20 years of experience in the human resources profession, and has worked with a diverse range of companies and industries.
Carrie is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), where she currently serves the Twin Cities chapter as a member of the Board of Directors and Immediate Past President. In addition, she is the Director-elect of the Minnesota SHRM State Council.
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Bemidji State University, and her Master’s Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business. She is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute.

For two decades, I have held corporate recruiting and HR roles, and I have been an active member and volunteer with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Twin Cities Human Resource Association (TCHRA). I held several board roles with TCHRA, including President and Past President.
My human resources and talent acquisition career has spanned across the hospitality, not-for profit, financial services and manufacturing industries and includes publicly and privately held organizations, as well as Fortune 500 companies.

A results driven Human Resource professional with experience in hospitality and lodging, property management, manufacturing and home health care environments. I have exceptional time management and organizational skills, and enjoys building relationships. Continuous process improvement is a high priority to help improve efficiency of the HR and other department in order to improve the service and experience we provide to our Associates. I have a passion for engaging employees in change efforts within an organization and their own personal and professional development. Simply put, getting them involved helps ease their resistance to change and allows the company to move in a positive direction.
One of my first managers in HR said “ companies don’t need HR without employees”, which is so true. Involvement in SHRM, MNSHRM and my local SHRM chapter have provided an abundance of learning and networking opportunities. Positions have included Certification Director, President & Past-President for CMSHRM and the MNSHRM State Conference Director.
Julie received her Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management from St. Cloud State University and her Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from Capella.

Jae is the Senior Director at CWT, one of the world's leading digital travel management companies. She is primarily responsible for leading the People Strategy for over 9,000 employees in multiple countries. She has extensive experience leading change management, large scale growth, transformations and organizational restructuring.
Jae started her career as a financial planner, giving her an unique perspective as a HR practitioner and has done prior stints in various functions within HR, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and centralized HR support.
Jae received her MA-HRIR degree from the Carlson School of Management and is SHRM-SPC certified. She serves as Treasurer for her local chapter, CMSHRM.

Donna is the founder and CEO of Guiding Strategies LLC, which originated in 2004, and provides Human Resource consulting to small and midsize companies. She has over 30 years of experience successfully providing human resource leadership to business. She is recognized as a business professional for her ability to design and build human resource functions that support successful growth and develop empowered high-performance employees.
Prior to starting her business, she served in executive roles primarily in the medical device industry; partnering with executive teams to achieve company success. She has worked in many other industries always finding creative solutions to human resource challenges.
Donna serves on the board of her local SHRM Chapter, North Star SHRM, where she has held many roles including President.

That’s how I feel about MNSHRM. I have been blessed to be the Executive Director of MNSHRM since 2016 and this is truly a fantastic group of people. The leadership team is comprised of top-talent individuals who have a passion for their industry and are so willing to share their time and expertise with the HR community.
As the Executive Director, I utilize my skills and experience to manage the daily operations of the growing organization. I am a graduate of Crown College where I received my Masters in Organizational Leadership and have since received my Certified Meeting Planner credentials.
Co-Certification Director | Co-Certification Director Tracy Overson, CLM, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, C(k)PF, is the Executive Director at Eckland & Blando where she has been employed since 2011. Tracy's career in the legal industry spans over 35 years. She is a strong business development professional with a Bachelor of Science degree focused in Management from Cardinal Stritch University. At Eckland & Blando, Tracy is responsible for overall financial management, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, budgeting, facility management, human resources, office administration, and overall firm management. Tracy is the current President of the North Star SHRM Chapter as well as the MNSHRM State Council Co-Certification Director.
