MNSHRM State Council Information and Roles
Thank you for your interest in serving on the MN SHRM State Council.
Minnesota is fortunate to have some of the most talented HR professionals in the country! These dedicated individuals generously volunteer their time and expertise to local SHRM chapters and the MNSHRM State Council. Volunteering allows HR pros to develop key competencies, gain new skills beyond their normal career path, and give back to the community.
Across Minnesota, there are 12 volunteer-run Chapters focused on providing networking and learning opportunities to HR professionals in their regions. These chapters play a vital role in connecting local HR peers for growth and collaboration.
The MNSHRM State Council links these Chapters with the SHRM organization. The State Council is led by volunteer Core Leadership Directors and an Executive Board of Directors. Their collective mission is to support HR excellence across Minnesota through service, advocacy, and education.
By getting involved in a leadership position, you can help shape the future of HR in our state. Please check out the Executive Board and State Council Director roles below.
Our community becomes stronger when people like you step up to volunteer your talents. We hope you'll consider bringing your skills to one of these rewarding roles!
